The sound of unlimited earnings could be overwhelming. So everytime we heard of a new earning site and see payment proof, we hurriedly sign up or start working with them. We keep on clicking, reading, writing, surfing, posting and doing everything in the name of cash. There's nothing wrong with it as long as your personal life, social obligations, job description and the like are not affected. There could be times that you feel tired at the end of the day after long hours of being in front of your computer. Have you ever asked what went wrong? Maybe, just maybe, you are overworking...

The good thing about homebased jobs is that you work on a flexible time. There are no deadlines to beat, and you can earn without limit. But how can you maximize online profit by investing time? Simple, TIME MANAGEMENT.

According to Wikipedia:
Time management refers to a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. This set encompass a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing. Initially time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities also. A time management system is a designed combination of processes, tools and techniques.

Let me share you the simplest TIME Management Matrix that I usually use to avoid cramming. I have learned it from someone in the Leadership Training. Since I'm dealing with my ONLINE TASKS, let us first list each one of them in no particular order:

Sulit: Free Ads

Blog Hopping
Updating Blogs:
Bloguardian Hellsite: Overcashed
Pinkville

Checking Odesk assignment

ReviewStream

Now let me sort them out according to 4 Categories:

URGENT and Important

Updating Bloguardian Hellsite: Overcashed

This would be my new table:

Easy, right? This way, I won't be stressed nor exhausted. I can also ensure that I am grabbing all of the available online opportunities every single day.

Eversince I installed shoutmix in my blog, I've noticed more visitors dropping by. It's plain and simple. Shoutmix is more convenient compared to posting a comment on each blog entry. Also, it enables us to promote other website instead of the blogspot restriction. Say, you can post two different messages with a different name and URL at the same time!

Just a while ago, my shoutmix widget has reached 10 pages of updates, all new and unique messages. To return the favor, I visited each of the posted URL and typed a message on their chatterbox or shoutmix widget, too. Not only that I can learn from their blog, but it also allows me to promote my site.

Having shoutmix widget drives more visitor because it allows LINK EXCHANGE. Not just a 1:1 ratio but it's like a pyramid concept. An exponential growth! Just take this screenshot for example:

Imagine how many bloggers can see my link and visit my blog!

Here's a technique for a fastest way of BLOG HOPPING.

Use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and enable autocomplete.
This way, each URL you clicked opens a new tab in a single browser. It looks like this:

And, each new tab will have the "Name" and "URL" fields automatically filled with your details. So you can have as many tabs as you like and when you try to type in a message, it will trigger autocomplete again allowing you to select a message from the dropdown list.

It's not the bionic fingers nor the technology. It's our creativity!

As shown by Alexa, this blog has been up and running since July 2000. It's been nine years then...But all I can remember is that I signed up with blogger.com while I was in my college years. My ARCHIVE shows that the first post has been made last February 05, 2005...been updating until 2006 then I was gone. I am a come-backing blogger, and this time monetizing is for real. When I created an account with Google Adsense, my PR was NA!

The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised
as a supplemental (Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google.

With regard to http://liezl-read-write.blogspot.com/ I assume it's the third scenario. I then started to update my blog again and became active in forums to promote my site. I don't know much about SEO but here are the things I've been doing for the past month:

1. Updating my blog with posts and other tools
2. Including my blog URL as a forum signature
3. Blog hopping/Exchanging with links
4. Submitting my site to several directories

And the next thing I knew is that my blog ranks PR1. It's not an ACCOMPLISHMENT for me yet though I can say it's a great improvement. Such a long way to go for PR10. ^_^

On my next post, I'll be sharing SEO tips based on my experience.
Current PR:

Whew. I've got a new addiction aside from magic cards! Haha. So for now, let's put aside "money talks". It's all about FUN!

Another Yuuki as an extra...

Just the two of them...

I won't discuss numbers here. This is my first time to get information about http://liezl-read-write.blogspot.com/ at ALEXA.
And I am not into deeper data analysis yet, just after the basic statistics. (Not yet in the mood to install more widgets and tools, too!) So here we go (as of July 25, 2009):

More visitors from Indonesia?! That's interesting.

Ten points for this uniquely made certificate for me! You might be wondering why the rating comes first before the review, it is simply because the certificate I received is the most excellent one I ever had. It uses the original and exclusive paper of Microsoft which made me feel important. It is so heartwarming to get this kind of treatment from a very prestigious company. It really shows how much they care for their people.

I received the two packaged envelopes from FedEx and it is addressed from Microsoft MCP Training Center. I like the fact that they are taking care of our certificates from shipping to delivery. I opened it at home and hold the certificate in amazement and disbelief. I was really touched to see my name on it, correctly spelled and properly recognized. Most of my certificates have my name misspelled on it given the fact that I correctly input my full name on the required fields. But here, it is one sure shot! Everything seems to be perfect. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone behind this certificate of excellence... my deepest appreciation to all of you.

Bill Gates' signature is just below my name. Microsoft's official seal is slightly embossed which proves authenticity. I am very happy that I passed the exam and received this certificate. No word is enough to describe my happiness. I really admire all the people who made this thing possible. Along with my Microsoft Kit is my MCP ID and it is now safely sitting on my purse. I am a proud Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist now!

Too bad, "freebie week" is over. I was with my boyfriend at Trinoma last July 11 when a long queue at Krispy Kreme caught my attention. They are not store customers, mind you. So after buying a dozen donuts we approached the nearby table and asked the young man in purple. Tadaa! They were giving out freebies, compliments of yahoo.com.ph! How? Just log on to http://www.yahoo.com.ph/ and look for Purple Hunt code. Then you just have to present that code to the Purple Crew. Unfortunately, that "was" the last day of the promo. I hurriedly browse the site using my phone but it took me so long plus we already had our movie tickets and screening time was almost near. There, I missed it the purple goodies!

The next time I logged on to the site, what welcomed me is the Purple Hunt Finale. Just in case you're interested, you may want to try your luck and guess the location of the game. :P

Do you need a clue?

If in case the picture of the place is not familiar to you, and you don't want to go through the hassle of searching, just type Taguig City on the answer field. ^_^

SEE YOU THERE!!!

P.S.
Be careful not to get sick or you'll miss the fun. To quote them:

Keeping everyone flu-free!

For everyone's safety, there will be temperature monitoring on-site. Unfortunately, hunters down with fever will not be allowed participate and asked to go home. If you're feeling unwell, or have a fever or a headache, we hope you do the right thing and stay at home to rest.

Thanks for your understanding
.

Good luck guys!

I'm not in the mood yet but I don't have any other choice. My attendance issues are crippling my monthly stats. :(
Oh well, already working on this area of opportunity. Posting some NBS pix to lighten up my mood. Whew! Missing my elementary days with those craypas...

Fight!

Rewriting an old poem to reinstill courage...

Not alone but frightened
What’s out there to fear?
Silent, but I’m deafened
It’s so hard to bear!

The crushing sound-
Now, that’s what I hear
Something like bomb
And friction against gear

I want to see
But my eyes were closed
I want to move
But I’m stiffened

My mind is shouting:
Go and fight!
My body is trembling
My fists clutched tight

That’s the worst in me
Why can’t I fight?
Braver I must be
To hell with this fright.

I was in battle
Shall I hide?
No, I’m a soldier
I must fight!

In this cyberworld, it is a must to have competent knowledge about computers. Those who are not born lucky with that skill have all the chance to learn it through IT training. Here in the Philippines, there are plenty of colleges offering that course. It could be a bachelor degree or just a basic diploma. I took up Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Computer Engineering Technology. This 4-year course offered by Batangas State University allowed me to learn and enhance my technical skills. The very good thing about it is the practical training. This is a 4-year ladderized program that allows student to take it as vocational, technical, technological or bachelor course. Every year, it provides training not just on hardware but also software. I was indeed lucky to have practical training outside the university and became exposed to networking. There are also certificates offered from TESDA and other government related offices. Also, on-the-job trainings provided by school coordinator are really technical-related. It may range from PC maintenance and troubleshooting, PC assembly, software installation, router configuration, wireless setup, LAN connections and many more.

Aside from this course in this well-known university, there are also in-depth courses for IT. We have what we called School of Information Technology located in Alangilan Campus. They are the pros when it comes to programming, networking and OS configuration.

Other than my beloved university, Meralco Foundation Institute in Ortigas Center also offered programs or course of your choice in line with computers. My friends are currently taking up CISCO certifications. This is the brief list of courses offered: CISCO, Windows, Web Development, SAP Business One Logistics and Financials, Oracle, JAVA, Programming, and Linux System and Network Administration.

Not to mention the least, we also have several competitive colleges in our country such as Informatics Computer Institute, AMA Learning Center and ABE Colleges. They all give equal opportunities to every Filipino. Scholarships are available to deserving student. I, myself is a product of provincial and university scholarship. All you need is passion for information technology to acquire the desired knowledge. Furthermore, there is a need for practice to constantly hone the skills. Stagnant ideas will become nothing if just kept inside. Group studies can encourage an individual to share his or her knowledge to others.

Having IT training does not end in school. Even at work, my job provides me technical training as a reward. I have enjoyed free Windows Vista Certification training from Trend Micro, one of the leading IT industry and anti-virus company. I now have my Microsoft ID as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.

There are also numbers of call centers or BPO patronizing computer-related course graduates. They prefer job applicants with computer background over those who have none. After all, it is easy to train those who know the basics of information technology. To name some of the contact centers giving job opportunities in the field of IT, we do have Convergys, ETelecare, DELL, IBM, Telus, Trend Micro Inc., and so on.

The thirst for technical knowledge has no limit, thereby giving us a wide range of opportunities to learn.

When I stumbled upon this page, I thought this is promising because they will pay me $1.50 per 1000 views. My goal when I signed up here is for my file backup, I was not really after the payout since I do not think that my articles are that interesting because they are old posts way back college days. Most of my posts are rejected after review but I keep it there for back up. It takes long for the system to review my articles then publish it. I was not in a hurry so it was really not a big deal.

I like how associatedcontent informed me about their works. They are very detailed when it comes to comments about my submission. They always tell why it has been declined and what I can do for the editors to approve it. I read the guidelines then resubmit my contents, later on, it has been approved. When my published articles reached more than 20, I noticed that their response is getting quicker. I have found out that it is really normal and with that they trust me more. Every day, I reached hundreds of viewers. The more I publish, the more I get visitors. I am excited to receive my first payout no matter how small it is. The good thing about this site is I can always rewrite and post my blog entries. This is a good site for writing. You will benefit more if you’re a US resident because they are giving upfront payment. I feel bad that what I can avail is display-only-payment since I am outside US. I just wish that they can give equal opportunities to everyone.

I was able to earn $ 2.16 and they already paid me through Paypal last June. Since I have posted all of my previous blog entries, I already stopped working with them. I am focusing more on original content but not with AC anymore, still in search of greener pastures. Associated Content does not give rewards for referral. You may click here to sign up.

My online friends might be wondering where I’ve been for the past few days knowing that I’m very fond of updating my blog. As much as I wanted to publish my thoughts and emotions, I don’t have enough time to do so. Rather, time and strength. It has been a week since my grandma passed away. I’ve been busy days and nights with my family duties. The vigil corrupted me of outside world. I felt I was enclosed in a coffin, too.

God has been so kind enough to grant my secret wish. HE let granny die while I was at home. I’ve been very vocal to let them know about it saying that I don’t want to go home with funeral lights to welcome me. I wanted LIFE to embrace me for every monthly visit. What makes this homecoming different is the sad eyes of an old woman. My hugs and kisses are not enough to restore her back to health. It is very painful to see her gasp for her last breath. Yes, I was there on her last moment. I’ve seen how she tried to buy time from death. I’ve heard her say: “Not now…Not yet…Let me live until the end of this day…” She said those words since she’s aware that her sister and her daughter were still on their way to see her that same day. I was indeed lucky, I was never late. I know that she was not afraid to die. We had the so-called heart to heart conversation the day before her death. We were able to reminisce the old times. I was in deep tears when she leaned on my shoulder and spoke her loving request. She wanted me to take care of my parents and my siblings. She need not tell me. Being the eldest, I know how to deal. I was able to tell grandma how much I love her:
Lola: Wag nag umiyak apo ko. Namamaga na mata mo.
Liz: Eh pano, ayoko pa kayong mawala. Alam nyo namang mahal na mahal ko kayo. Di ba kahit nung mga bata pa kami.
(And I cried even more…)
Lola: Ay sa paanhin kung ako’y kinukuha na. Di ga’t kagusto kong kasama pa kayo..
*sniff*

Tears ended our conversation. I did not realize that it will be my last time to hug her and talk to her. As I’ve said, I was never too late. She’s gone and I accept it. But I find it difficult not to think of her. What really bother me are the days to come… NO matter how much I tried to think that she’s in a better place called heaven, I can’t help but miss her…her love and care to her favorite grand daughter. Forever she’ll be me in my heart. And forever I’ll thank and love her. Grandma, may you rest in peace. See you there when my time comes.

Make sure to check my previous post about it: Increase Blog Traffic and Earn Cash.

Traffic Exchange with 150,000+ members

I am happy to let you know that I learned everything about easyhits4u.com from Review Stream. From here, you can conclude that RS is really providing helpful reviews. I signed up at easyhits4u after reading the review of a satisfied user. I entered my email address and verify it. Once my membership was approved, I navigate through the website and read the FAQ page. I find it hard to navigate the website on my first day. Later on, I figure out that I have to enter my own website first then I can start browsing or surfing. I entered three sites and I have to distribute the credits. The good thing is, no matter how many credits left with me, easyhits4u will still pay me based on the number of sites I have surfed. Having easyhits4u is a relief because it increases my page hits or blog traffic where there are advertisements. For me, the extra cash which is $0.30 per 1000 site surfed is already a bonus. So with or without it, I am enjoying its benefits through my blog. My only negative experience is that at a certain time, the server gets busy and I can not login. It happened 3 consecutive days and it lasted for more than 2 hours each time. I felt that few hours have been wasted in my attempt to sign in. Also, in the middle of browsing, I have been redirected to my account page and the reason is because there are no websites to surf at all. I wonder how such thing could have happened. One of the site perks is the bonus after reaching 25, 50, 100 and other page views which could be a banner, cash or credits. The banner impressions are useful because it is allowing me to display my banners. And I have just won cash once amounting $0.01. Not that bad for me. I have nine referrals as of the moment and I can not receive any incentive from easyhits unless my referral will browse 100 sites or more. And though it is more than 100 sites only $0.10 will be credited to me per referral. My current account with them is $0.83. Compared to Review Stream, its nothing. I do not mean anything here, what I am saying is that it is just the same price of my bulk review. So I would rather focus writing reviews than getting tired with the tedious clicking. But for those who are fond of PTC, this will surely work for you especially if you want your down line to grow faster. Most of the earning sites that I know right now, I just find them at EasyHits4U. You may get started by signing up HERE!

Surf Rules:
You have to wait 15 or 20 seconds before moving to the next site.

HOW TO ANSWER SURFING QUESTIONS:

When you start surfing you will see the surfbar in top of the window. Wait until the timer changes to "Go," then pick a word that matches the image. Click on it to continue surfing. If you see a set of two words or numbers, the system is asking you to perform a simple calculation. Just pick the answer for a given equation. Make sure to click only correct answer.

The good thing about EasyHits4u is that you can enjoy putting up your own site for text ads and banner ads for free depending on your credits.

Hey, guys check this out. Since I don't want to post the same entry from my other blog, let me just share the link.

Transformers VS Transporters

Presenting....

Transporters/Transportmers

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Watch it. It's a good movie! I've watched it with my officemates at the Eastwood Cinema Mall. Next week, I might watch it again @ Trinoma with my boyfriend.

Online reservation has been popular since the birth of internet. More and more hotels are building websites to accommodate services through the world wide web. E-booking was made possible. Though online reservation eases our burden of phone or personal reservation, there are also times that we are unsure if we will avail a certain service or not. Why? Pricing, amenities and location issues. It’s good to know that there are sites that offer free comparison of hotel prices. One great example is this website that eagerly supports e-commerce: CompareHotel.com.my.

This is a cool website that gives you a list of hotels to compare. Say, you are a traveler and want to compare Malaysia Hotel to Barcelona’s Hotel. All you have to do is enter the information on the required field and press compare button. Easy. It also allows you to search for different hotels within or beyond the are you have formerly searched. If you want quick result, visit this site and live a better life.

Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson is a story about accepting changes in life. "Cheese" plays a great role in this book together with the four imaginary characters namely: Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw... who have different attitude as their names implied. This book is full of representations that are easy to recognize even by new readers. Spencer narrated his story in such a way that you will enjoy reading. It's not your usual life drama here. It's unique and will let you realize how important it is to be wary of changes. Your "maze" or environment will never be the same again. I personally admire the characters here because they are representation of both you and me. In simple ways, you can identify which among the four represents you. It helped me identify myself.

When I first see the hard-covered book, I thought it has heavy topics like politics and management inside. But as I flip through the pages, it's much more of a bed story that's filled with moral lessons. I love how the author summarized it through "The Handwriting on the Wall" composed of fourteen life lessons. He also noted that "The fastest way to change is to laugh at your own folly then you can let go and quickly move on." Definitely correct! And since I'm in a relationship, I can apply everything I found there especially the one about letting go of old behavior instead of letting go of the relationship.

The book is well written with proper spacing and readable fonts. There are even illustrations inside which makes it more interesting to read. It is paperback and seems to be a recycled paper since it is a little bit thicker compared to other book pages. It is not an issue because it is consistent. The author used plain and simple English which makes his story easy to comprehend. I and my sisters enjoyed reading the book up to its ending.

I strongly recommend this book to our dear readers who are facing a lot of challenges in their life. This would be your wake up call to let you know, that everything is under your control as long as you are aware of the changes. I bet you will never regret reading this book for it will teach you how to handle the difficulties in life. I am sure that anyone who will read this will be transformed to a better person who will be living with his new rules as stated by the book.

P.S.
It will be nice to ponder on the thoughts Haw had written on the maze walls in his cheeseventure.

1. Having cheese makes you happy.

2. The more important your cheese is to you the more you want to hold on to it.

3. If you do not change, you can become extinct.

4. What would you do if you're not afraid?

5. Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old.

6. Movement in a new direction helps you find new cheese.

7. When you move beyond your fear, you feel free.

8. Imagining myself enjoying new cheese even before I find it, leads me to it.

9. The quicker you let go of the old cheese, the sooner you find new cheese.

10. It is safe to search in the maze than remain in a cheeseless situation.

11. Old beliefs do not lead you to new cheese.

12. When you see that you can find and enjoy new cheese, you change course.

13. Noticing small changes early helps you adapt to the bigger changes that are to come.

14. Move with the cheese and enjoy it.
