Starting August 2, 2011 until September 30, 2011, Chitika will pay double for any revenue you earn from running Chitika Ads (up to $100).

I'm not an active Chitika earner so I haven't installed any updated code from them to take advantage of this promotion. I have yet to make a research if it applies to Philippine traffic.

This is my first cash out from PayPerPost:

It's supposed to be $37.70 but I was charged $2 for the withdrawal since I haven't reach the minimum payout of $50 yet. It's been a year and I not getting much blog posting opportunities so I decided to encash it even if there's a $2 penalty.

Lately, I'm getting many writing opportunities from them but I only select which one I'll accomplish. Some advertisers require too many keywords and links. Take note, not just a single link but multiple links pointing to different sites. If only the price is right, it would be easier to complete these writing assignments. But what I love about Blogsvertise is that it respects my decision if I prefer not to take the task.

So for December, here is what I've earned. $10 was sent to me yesterday and then I received another payment today.

Payment is sent a month after completing the tasks so it means that it covers my November writing assignments.

After few months of being inactive in the Adgitize Network, I'm back to advertising and publishing again. It was July when I received my latest payment and I'm so happy to see an email notification about the October payment today:
This is actually my cumulative earnings from August to October. So little monthly earnings from them, right? Not anymore! I've just renewed my ads for Make More Money Online so I'll be getting extra advertiser's points. Plus, I've been active in the Adgitize forums in the past few days. I'm hoping to get more than $14 this November!

You get the job, what's next? Of course you must complete the assignment! Is that all? Probably, yes. But what you're doing while you are trying to accomplish the assigned task can greatly affect your next jobs. How? Through Ratings and Feedback.

I am inspired to share my next tip because the most recent feedback from my clients are so encouraging and heart-warming. I was happy with the payment I received, but what made me happier are the positive comments and kinds words from them:

My current feedback rating is 4.90.

As for feedback policy, oDesk stated that:
Feedback is essential to the proper functioning of oDesk’s marketplace. We believe that two-way feedback improves the overall quality of the network and ensures the best possible matches between Buyers and Providers. We believe that anyone submitting feedback on another User should treat the other User with respect, courtesy and professionalism. We also ask that all Users seek to understand the reasons for success or failure of an assignment before assigning feedback to the other person. Please remember that feedback becomes part of a person's public profile and is critical to their reputation and credibility and, therefore, their ability to successfully continue as a productive participant on oDesk.
Another good thing about the feedback system is that it is "double-blind". You cannot see the given feedback for you until you leave feedback for the other party. Providing of feedback can be done within 14 days after completion of assignment.

Here is my tip to all aspiring oDeskers:

While Applying For the Job
- I have already provided the two versions of my oDesk tips. Here's a recap:

oDesk Tips Version 1
oDesk Tips Version 2

Just want to add something. When submitting a sample for a job you are applying for, make sure that it is relevant for the position or job specifications. If the job posting is all about relationship articles, don't attach previous work about loans and refinancing. Though the client can still see your writing style and check your grammar, it is still important to highlight your abilities and market your talent by showing off your best and most related work.

A provider and buyer's feedback is based on 5 criteria. All having a 0-5 star rating, 5 being the highest:
Skills
Quality
Availability
Deadlines
Communication
Cooperation

Jazz up your oDesk profile through an impressive résumé. Fill it up with positive feedback!

On Getting the Job Done
- Before working on your assignment, check the original job posting. Make sure you are following the tasks specified and meeting all the requirements. This can help you gain high scores for Skills and Quality.

- Be there when the client needs you. I know that the different time zones make it challenging for all of us but allocating a little portion of your time to the buyer by informing him or her about the updates is a plus for your Availability and Communication score.

- Be responsible. Be true to your words. Finish the job on time. Most clients are from US and they are strict when it comes to Deadline. There is no such thing as Filipino time. Take it from the American culture.

- Be versatile and passionate about your job. When client requested you to modify something or informed you about sudden change of plan, as long as it is reasonable, take it light-heartedly. Your bonus will be reflected on Cooperation score. There are even buyers who pay more than your bid if they are highly satisfied with the job!

Hope that helps! Happy earning!

Oh well, a round of applause for Mary N.! Not only for bagging the two major awards from BHO but also for being a successful oDesker. And hey, I really appreciate the credits she had given me:

First of all, it makes me feel great to be able to help other people especially when it comes to extra earning. I'm happier when someone is happy because of me! Haha.

So, what does it take to be a successful at oDesk? Interest, determination, patience and all positive virtues you can think of.

I have posted my personal ODESK tips before but I wish to add more. Probably few reminders to encourage more freelancers.

1. Have a sample article ready. You can showcase your talent by directing the clients to your decent blogs or portfolio. (Note: Having a great blog is like hitting two birds in one stone. Instant traffic from the client, and a grand presentation for him or her to get your dream job.)

2. Never ignore the instructions on the job posted. If the client wants you to type in the secret code, make sure you do it. It's a matter of test. If you can not follow simple instructions, what more on bigger writing responsibilities.

3. Subscribe to oDesk job alerts so that you'll be updated with the current job postings. To make it simpler, while you are browsing for the jobs you may MODIFY Search in different criteria then click SAVE SEARCH. You will get your daily job alerts.

If you wish to earn more and have what it takes to be an ODESKer, SIGN UP now and I can be your guiding star. *wink*

How's your Paypal Wishlist experience? Because no one bothered to join me on this Paypal Wishlist application at Facebook, I've only earned $1! Haha. Not bad, only proves that it's a legitimate promotion. I wonder why my FB friends prefer Farmville over this earning-app.

Anyway, I'm not that active on Facebook so I was not able to tell the whole world about it. No hard selling done so my campaign was not successful. But it's okay.

Earn more income from your blog through Blogsvertise.

Here's my second earning:

Payment here is per approved task and it is sent after 30 days through paypal. You can find my first post about Blogvertise here.

My first assignment gave me $6 when my blog was still PR1. Now that it's PR2, I have noticed that offers increased to $9! That is really promising!

Don't have a Blogvertise account yet? Get started here:

The contest week is not yet over but for now, I'm back to provide update about my Personal Finance Management Seminar with Mr. Armand Bengco of Colayco Foundation. It was so kind of him to share the informative slides after his presentation.

The seminar was entitled: PISObilities! -MANAGING YOUR PERSONAL FINANCES
It was a lively discussion and as much as I wanted to share the exact documentation used, I am not sure if that would be legal. Yes, I did not upload the powerpoint files. But let me just share you the important lessons I have learned.

* Personal finance is not always about money.
Yes we know that it involves money but it should not end there. It includes income and wealth and along it there is continuous earning, planning, saving, spending and investing.

* Being wealthy is a state of wellness. It is being able to support your lifestyle even without working. You just sit and let your money work for you.

* There are two sources of income: ACTIVE income and PASSIVE income. Active income primarily comes from our salary, commissions, sidelines, OTs and more while PASSIVE income is derived from INVESTMENT income (Financial Assets, Real Estate, Direct Business Ownership)

*Here is a smart way of spending your money: SPEND your active income solely for your NEEDS and your PASSIVE income for your WANTS. (Surely, there will be no guilty feeling even a bit of it.)

*We have allies and obstacles to wealth generation. Allies are time, compound interest and leverage. As for obstacles we have inflation, procrastination, spending habits, culture and traditions.

BABY STEPS to A WEALTHY YOU
1. Emergency Fund- Equal to one month income
2. Protect yourself - Secure term life/accident
3. Get out of debt
4. Find additional/new sources of Active Income
-Start a business (pooling)
-New employment (Consultancy / “Teach”)
5. Start your long term investment plan

IT’S NOT ENOUGH TO JUST SAVE! Be a knowledgeable investor: PASSIVE INCOME EARNER!

One of their motto: “We can never control the winds……But we can certainly learn to adjust our sails.”

True success can't be measured by HOW MUCH YOU EARN. BUT HOW MUCH YOU GET TO SAVE & GROW.

These few details could not speak everything for me. The seminar is really an eye-opener so I suggest that you attend one if the opportunity arises. Be proactive during the discussion because they are giving away cool rewards!

You may visit www.colaycofoundation.com or onewealthynation.com to be more enlightened!

Great! This is just for a single task (website review) last October. I never thought it's for real. Yes, I do sign up to a lot of things and try more earning sites each day then blog about it once I received payment. I'm into article writing so PTC is a big no-no...

In Blogsvertise, writing journal entry is per invitation. You will receive notification via email if an advertiser would like you to review a certain website. Payment will be sent after 30 days upon completion of tasks. And here's more, payout increase is possible!

Payout Increases
Generally speaking our standard payouts range from $4-20 per entry dependant on rankings of blogs as measured by third party services. However we have the capability in our system to set your payout rates set to whatever you want. If your blog has a popular following or high ranking, has been online for over a year, feel free to request a higher minimum payout.

Advertisers and publishers are welcome to sign up here!

I am on my 2nd month of being an advertiser at Adgitize and I am actually earning more than what I have paid for the advertisement. My first month with them was spent as a publisher with a promising earning. I just decided to become a publisher because of the affordable 1-month fee: $14!

Now that they have decided to raise it to $24 per month, I am having second thoughts of renewing my ads this coming November. After reading the Adgitize updates, I was enlightened and excited as well for this great change in their system. With the price increase, there goes more earnings:
And here's more: Earnings from referrals are not yet included so you'll still get extra dollars.

I will keep advertising with them, it's a very good investment and the smartest decision!

Wanna share your thoughts here?

More power to Adgitize! Afterall, it's still our choice to stay as an advertiser (with all the benefits of publisher/affiliates/advertiser) or revert back to being a publisher...

Whether you're a Publisher or an Advertiser, you can make the most out of Bidvertiser! The best thing is that they pay via PayPal with a minimum of only $10! It is the most convenient mode of payment for me compared to cheque or wire transfer.

Bidvertiser is a site-targeted market place wherein you have the control over the ADS that can be displayed.

For Publishers:
Sign up now and get paid for clicks!
To begin displaying BidVertiser ads on your site, simply follow these steps:
1. Choose your ad template by clicking "Choose Template".
2. Click "Get Ad Code" to get your ad HTML code.
3. Paste the HTML code into your website where you would like ads to be displayed.
4. If needed, click on "Templates Design" on the upper navigation bar to customize the colors and fonts of the chosen template.

As simple as that one.

For Advertisers:
1. Browse the categorized directory of websites
2. Select the appropriate ones for your business
3. Set your desired geographic targeting
4. Set your pay per click bids
5. Your ads are up and running!

Enjoy earning and promoting sites...
